LOCK IN YOUR LOCATION
The Swift GPS uses a multi-constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver that determines location from GPS, Galileo and BeiDou satellites. The location information can be shared with your buddy or a boat full of divers. Any Shearwater air-integrated computer within range can pick up the Swift GPS signal.*

FREQUENTLY ASKED
How is the Swift GPS different from the Swift?
The Swift GPS provides the same air integration into your dive computer as the original Swift, with the added benefit of capturing your dive coordinates upon entry and exit. The GPS function does drain the battery quicker so there is also a difference in battery life between the two models.
What is the battery life of the Swift GPS?
The battery life for the Swift GPS is up to 100 dive hours (100 one-hour dives, with 20 minutes GNSS on-time before and after each dive).
Which dive computers are compatible with the Swift GPS?
All current Shearwater air integrated dive computers are compatible with Swift GPS. This includes the Perdix AI, Perdix 2, Petrel 3, NERD 2, Teric, Tern TX, and Peregrine TX.
Can my dive buddies use the GPS coordinates from my Swift GPS?
Yes, all Shearwater compatible computers in range of the Swift GPS will be able to capture the signal. You can verify this by seeing the GPS icon on your computer screen go green.
Can I use the Swift GPS with the Shearwater Cloud?
No, the Swift GPS has been built to use exclusively with the new Dive Shearwater app. However, the GPS data will still be kept in the Cloud but you will not be able to view it until you migrate over to Dive Shearwater.
Your dive computer will also need to have the latest firmware downloaded.
